In September 2012, MECB Ltd of Malta, will be hosting a course on the topic of Eco Innovation, Environment & Sustainable Devleopment coupled with a number of Technical and Cultural visits around the island The European Commission has once again approved this course for a Grundtvig/ Commenius grant, to allow EU adults/citizens to obtain funds to cover travelling, accommodation and course training fee expenses.

We are looking at expanding our partnership; we are interested in particular in partners with high expertise in energy efficiency especially for the food sector.

1) LIFE+ 2012 Call for Proposals
The sixth LIFE+ call for proposals was published in the Official Journal (2012/C 74/08) on 13 March 2012. The deadline for applicants to submit proposals to Member State authorities is 26/09/2012.
The following themes are covered by the Call:
- Nature and Biodiversity
- Environment Policy and Governance (includig climate change, water, air, soil, urban environment, noise, chemicals, environment and health, natural resources and waste, forests, innovation, strategic approaches)
