Membership
The members of PREPARE come from research institutions, consultancy, public administration, governments, industry and international organizations. In addition, PREPARE has a memorandum of understanding with UNIDO and the associated national cleaner production centres from many parts of Eastern Europe.

Current PREPARE Secretariat
The PREPARE Network is administered by a secretariat (the PREPARE Secretariat), a preparatory committee (PrepCom) and a chairman. This organization changes every three years.
The secretariat takes care of daily tasks and finance.
The PREPARE Secretariat is hosted at EMPRESS - Platform for resource efficiency and sustainable consumption and production in the Czech Republic. The PREPARE Secretariat consists of general secretary Mr. Pavel Ruzicka (pavel [dot] ruzicka [at] empress [dot] cz) and assistant Ms. Zuzana Kozielova (office [at] empress [dot] cz).
The PrepCom acts as an advisory group for the secretariat and consists of the former, current and coming secretariat.
The PrepCom consists of Stig Hirsbak, Kim Christiansen and Daniel Moeller (Denmark – 2009-2011), Pavel Ruzicka and Vladimir Dobes (Czech Republic – 2012-2014), and Ibon Zugasti and Peter Glavic (Spain / Slovenia, 2015-2017).
The chairman must work for the development and efficiency of the secretariat and the network in itself.
Chairman of PREPARE is Mr. Zdenek Horsak, Managing Director at SITA CZ company, member of SUEZ Environment Group.
